The company launched the device with custom ColorOS 5.0 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Now, Realme is allowing developers and users to test the upcoming ColoOS 5.2 for Realme 1. Sign Up for ColorOS 5.2 Beta Tester Program
Step 1: Visit the official Realme site and join as Realme’s Community Member.
Step 2: Check the give necessary info on this Google Form.
Step 3: Enter IMEI number of your Realme 1 device. You can get it by dialling *#06# on your device.
Step 4: Now enter your Realme Community username and click on the Submit option.
Step 5: That’s it! If you’re lucky enough to get selected you will get ColorOS 5.2 via OTA (over-the-air).
Things to be noted:
- The ColorOS 5.2 beta release is for the Realme 1 only.
- We recommend you to back up your phone’s data prior to installing the beta version.
- It’s a beta version, so you will find some bugs.
- Users enrolled in the beta testing will receive the official OTA public release on Nov 16.
