Huawei to bring world’s fastest SuperCharge technology to India with the HUAWEI Mate 20 series. Check out the press release for more details on SuperCharge technology!

Huawei Consumer Business Group announces the company’s upcoming Mate 20 flagships would feature several industry-first specifications, both on its design and hardware that would set it apart from its predecessor.

The HUAWEI Mate 20 Series is designed to enable consumers to enjoy a rich, more fulfilled life with higher intelligence, unparalleled battery lives and powerful camera performance. Besides its superior performance, the HUAWEI Mate 20 Series also features ground-breaking improvement on battery life.

The HUAWEI Mate 20 series houses a large, high-density battery, and supports 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge 2.0, which gives the device 70 per cent charge in 30 minutes.

The SuperCharge technology is TÜV Safety Certified, with TÜV Rheinland’s safety standards being some of the world’s stringiest. The fast and safe charging technology charges the device while maintaining a low device temperature, so users can have peace of mind while their devices are plugged in. In a fast charging scenario, the activity may cause the lithium dendrites to form on the surface of the anode, which is a leading cause of battery safety issues.

To ensure that batteries created are safer and deliver a longer battery life, Huawei has introduced the ultra-fast battery charging technology. Huawei’s ultra-fast charging battery is the result of battery material innovation. It is fully compatible with the existing battery solutions and contains silicon and nitrogen-doped carbon materials.

Unlike traditional fast-charging solutions, ultra-fast charge employs a relatively low-voltage and high-current formula that aims to maximize the amount of current delivered into the device, while minimizing efficiency losses and throttling.

This innovation is based on electrochemical kinetics advancements, which enable ultra-fast charging batteries to support greater power efficiency and current input. Leveraging the nitrogen-doped carbon frame, Huawei improved the stability intercalation and deintercalation of lithium.
