Apple fanboys (and maybe their marketing team) have been spreading false “rumors” about how Droid X is locked down. This is completely untrue, the Droid X features same so-called “locking” mechanism as previous Motorola phones.
It’s simply a matter of time before development teams around the world root the Droid X, it’s inevitable.
But it’s not going to happen overnight of course, give it 2-3 months and I bet you someone will figure out how to root the Droid X.
The original Motorola Droid was widely popular, has it been rooted? Yes, long time ago and I would expect the same from the new Motorola Droid X.
So my point?
If you want to root your Droid X, you should eventually be able to.
Hey, I see a half-full glass, do you see that or is it half-empty?
