According to Engadget who had the chance to review the new Motorola Droid X hands-on, the new Droid X will pack a giant 4.4-inch FWVGA LCD with 854 by 480 pixel resolution.
On top of the large screen, Droid X will pack Android 2.1 with Motoblur user interface, 8 megapixel camera with 720P HD capability, multi-touch virtual keyboard, and 8GB internal storage space (sorta like HTC Droid Incredible) that can be expanded along with microSD slot.
This is some seriously nice specs for the new Motorola Droid X. For current Droid users, this could be great upgrade to a new superphone that can probably be only matched by the giant 4.3-inch HTC Evo 4G by Sprint.
Will it be the new king of smartphones? Apparently so for smartphone users who enjoy bigger, larger screens for easy of using multi-touch virtual keyboards and viewing websites without having to pinch and zoom.
From the hands-on videos we saw over at Engadget, it seems Droid X is indeed snappy and looks incredible, perhaps more incredible than the HTC Droid Incredible.
If you ask us, we obviously love it.
