Motorola has just updated their Android OS upgrade page (Yes, they “updated” the “update” page!) with the same news that official Froyo Android 2.2 will be coming to Droid X at the end of this summer.
Wait, summer is almost over, we’ve officially got only 7 more days of the-weirdest-summer-of-decade. (By the way here in San Francisco, summer has been lost all summer with too many cold days until yesterday when skies cleared up, something is UP with this weird weather, I swear!)
Anyways, this simply means that Droid X Froyo official update is going to roll out within this week sometime or perhaps by end of the week. We sure hope so and keep your pants on until we give you the official word on Froyo update.
In the meanwhile, you can always get the leaked version of Froyo too.
